Black shirts representing popular metal bands and leather jackets complete the look. Plain dark or black gym styled shoes are worn for boarding. Sleeves are often removed from the shirts. Hair is usually long, and all one length and typically dyed black or shaded with deep tones of red. Sometimes, being a metal skateboarder means putting on eyeliner, even for males.
