How To Beat The Casino
If you are trying to find out how to beat the casino, you will first need to master the game or games you want to play. If you like blackjack, learn how to bet and learn which cards to play. If poker is your game, practice online until you master one type of poker game, such as Texas hold ‘em. To beat the casino, you will have to be prepared to lose at first, just in case you have a run of bad luck from the outset. Remember to never gamble with money you cannot afford to lose.
Things you may need:
- Bankroll
- Access to a casino
- Stick to games you are familiar with. Just because the craps table may be jumping on the night you are at the casino does not mean you should put your money on the table unless you know what you are doing. Ignore the hype and activity and just go to the game table you know how to play.
- Start with small bets until you are comfortable raising the stakes. If you like playing blackjack for example, sit at the $5 tables for awhile so you can get into a groove. Once you build your bankroll a little, move up to a higher stakes table at the casino and use the same methodology that just helped you grow your original stake.
- Know when to walk away from a table. If you are playing a game and you are running cold, set the maximum amount you can lose. If you hit that, move to a different game. Do not waste your roll trying to get revenge on the casino since that can make your cash disappear faster.
- Once you are ahead by a solid amount, decide whether to continue or to call it a night. If you have had good fortune on a particular night, don’t waste your cash by trying to beat the casino by doubling up on one game. For example, if you are ahead and you see that there is a big poker game going on with an empty seat available, go ahead and sit down, but do not put all of your money in play. If your good luck continues, keep playing until you begin to tire, then go to the cashier and pocket your winnings.
