  1. First, nothing is possible without knowledge.  In order to become a caddy you must learn how to become a successful caddy.  Get involved at your country club or golf resort that may have a course on how to become a caddy.  The Professional Caddies Association will also be able to provide tips and has their own web site here on the Internet.
  2. After you have successfully learned the art of becoming a caddy, get a job as a caddy.  There are many places to seek employment, your local country club, golf resorts and golf courses.
  3. Make contacts.  Without making contacts and presenting yourself it will not be possible to get in the door.  Go to local golfing events and network yourself- gettinng your name known.  This is a true assets for anyone hoping to become a caddy on the PGA tour.
  4. Start out with various tours that you may be able to find employment in and climb the ladder.  There are many tours such as the Hooter's Tour that are seeking experienced caddies.  Also, volunteer for tours when possible.
