Whether you need the money, or you're looking for a way to break into the modeling business, you may be wondering how to become a nude model. There is a wide range of styles within nude modeling, from sexual, to anatomic, to lingerie. The main thing to keep in mind is what the photographer is looking for in a model. Admission practices will vary from organization to organization slightly, but in general becoming a nude model is pretty straight forward:
- Most organizations will ask for your most current photographs. It is most common that they request a head shot, a photo displaying full frontal nudity, and full rear nudity. This is the easiest way for them to quickly weed out the applicants that don't match what they are looking for. If you pass this step, you are well on your way to becoming a nude model.
- Because of the nature of nude modeling, they must verify that you are at least eighteen years old. The simplest way of doing this is to provide two forms of identification that show your age. It is usually required that at least one of these be a photo ID.
- Many organizations want their models to fit a type. Depending on who the target audience is, this could be anything from fit, to overweight. It is very important to know who your audience is. This saves your time as well as those you are auditioning for.
- Quite often if you are hired for one nude modeling job, you will be referred for more. Start building your portfolio, and you will be well on your way to becoming a nude model.
