Love snowboarding and want to learn how to become a snowboard instructor? If so, this is the perfect guide for you. Becoming a snowboard instructor is easy as long as you know how to snowboard. But if you love snowboarding, this could be the perfect job for you. After all, why not do something you love and get paid for it? If this sounds like something you want to do then read on.

  1. The first step to becoming a snowboard instructor is to make sure you are an experienced at snowboarding. After all who wants to learn from a snowboard instructor that doesn't have a lot of experience at snowboarding? No one! So make sure you have at least three years of experience before you apply for that first snowboard instructor job.
  2. The second step to becoming a snowboard instructor is to talk to the snowboard instructors at the resort where you want to work at. Most resorts hold a job fair before every snowboarding season.
  3. The third and final step to becoming a snowboard instructor is to attend the job fairs to give you the best chance of getting a job as a snowboard instructor. After you have done that, be prepared for an on-hill assessment. The assessment is to show to the certified member that you are an experienced snowboarder.
  4. After the assessment you may or may not get hired. If you do not get hired keep on trying. if you are truly skilled, sooner or later you are bound to get hired as a snowboard instructor.
