- To pull off a boardslide on a snowboard you must first learn to board a rail. Rails are a fun part of snowboarding but should not be taken lightly. Strap on your gear and spend a few minutes warming up.
- When prepared approach the rail with knees bent and head up. Once on the mini-ramp, straighten your knees to gain air. Place the base of the snowboard on the rail and keep your head up and hands out from your sides.
- As the snowboard “slides” across the rail, you will be performing a boardslide on a snowboard. Continue through to the end of the rail. Your knees should be slightly bent as you ride the rail. Straighten them to give a slight push off the rail. Turn your torso towards the end of the rail and land the jump.
