How To Break Into Porn

You're tired of your 9 to 5 and ready for something totally different, so now you're wondering how to break into porn. Working as a porn star may be your dream job. You get paid good money to have hot sex with women you just met. You just need to figure out how to get your johnson in the door.

  1. Get photos of yourself taken. Producers may want to see both homemade snapshots and professional photographs of you. If you want to break into porn, you are going to need some pictures to market yourself. Getting professional photographs taken can be expensive though. Check around with photographers to see if any are willing to trade their services for the rights to your pictures. They'll take your pics for free in exchange for the right to use the photographs as advertisements for their business.
  2. Audition for production companies. You'll need to show up at open casting calls with a clean bill of health from your doctor. The auditions will test whether you are capable of staying hard for lengthy periods of time in crowded rooms. You'll need to perform in front of a film crew and other actors auditioning for the same roles. These auditions are not for the faint of heart; you may be asked to do things you've never tried before and you could end up getting a lot closer to another horny naked man than you've ever been. If you want to break into porn, you'll need to perform on demand while looking good.
  3. Show up for work on time and sober. It's incredible how far you can get in life just showing up on time. Porn can be fun, but it's also a business. Behave like a professional by arriving where you're supposed to work, when you're supposed to be there, ready to perform. Break into porn by developing a reputation as a reliable, courteous actor. Even if you're capable of getting wood when you're drunk, you don't want to look sloppy on film. Save the partying for your days off.
  4. Attend any industry parties you get invited to. People who work in porn love to network and often do so at parties. Like filming, parties can be fun but should be approached as an opportunity to introduce yourself to producers and other performers. If you make a good impression, these connections can lead to work in the future.
