How To Build A Mini Golf Course

If you are looking for a strategy on how to build a mini golf course, look no further. Building a mini golf course can be time and money consumingt, but there a ways to build a mini golf course without ruining your yard or spending a fortune.

1. Find supplies. You can build a mini golf course using almost anything. Look around in your shed, garage, or basement for supplies you may already have. You can also ask a neighbor for supplies to reduce costs. Some things that can be used are cinderblocks, two by fours, bricks,  chicken wire, gardening stakes and boards. If you can not find these supplies lying around, they can be purchased at a local hardware store. Bricks can be purchased for as little as 22 cents per piece.
2. Don't dig holes. When you make a hole for your golf course, you could dig one up. Digging is not always the best choice, considering it could leave wholes and patches in your yard. To make a hole easily you can place a piece of  duct tape on the ground and press it slightly in. This is a easy to move hole.  A croquet stake or wicket can also be used.
3. Make different course designs for each whole. Use bricks and cinderblocks to build different designs. Don’t be boring when you make your golf course. Make different shapes and angles to take your shots in. The more variety the better. You can even build a maze for a shot. This can be fun for both you, your family, and friends.  If you like color, you can paint your wood and blocks to give the course life.
4. Incorporate obstacles. Obstacles become the most fun part of using a mini golf course. So, it would be great if you could build some obstacles for your very own golf course. You can make a ramp using a cinderblock and wood. You can also build something like a door, using a cardboard box. A really fun obstacle is the tidal wave. With this one you will have to make about three to four small ramps in a row. When you put, the ball will jump from ramp to ramp.
5. Be simple. Whatever you do, don’t stress yourself over the complexity of the course. The main point in building the course is to have fun. Whatever your construct, make sure it is personalized to your interests and personality. Don’t get flustered and remember that all the work you are doing will pay off in the end.
