There are several things to consider when you want to find out how to buy a refrigerator. Before you decide on a refrigerator, make sure it will fit in your kitchen. If you are buying a refrigerator that has a freezer, make sure to allow for the extra space if the freezer is located on the side of the refrigerator and not above it. Make sure to do some comparison shopping, to review the different brands and prices of refrigerators.

  1. Decide on a color for your refrigerator. Make sure the color you choose goes with your kitchen. Some models that come in colors other than white may be priced a bit higher, so allow for any increase when you are choosing a color.
  2. Go to an appliance store to buy a refrigerator. Find the brand you are interested in buying, and see if it is on sale. Look inside the refrigerator, and make sure it has enough space for your needs. Ask the salesperson what kind of warranty comes with the refrigerator, and see if there is any additional cost.
  3. Search online to buy a refrigerator. Find websites that sell refrigerators in the brand that you like, and see if the price is lower than the appliance store. Allow for shipping charges as you compare the prices. Look for the warranty information as well, and find out the website’s return policy in case the refrigerator does not work properly once you receive it.
  4. Check an appliance catalog to buy a refrigerator. You may be able to find a refrigerator that is on sale in the catalog. Compare the price with any other sources you have already checked, and finalize your purchase if you cannot find a better price elsewhere.
