Learning how to cannonball on snowboard is a good way to add a cool trick to your repertoire. Plus, if you know how to cannonball on a snowboard the ladies will be very impressed.

Before you start learning how to cannonball on a snowboard you will need to gather the following items.

  • Snowboard
  • Halfpipe/Ramp
  • Helmet

Once you have gathered all of these items it is time to learn how to cannonball on a snowboard.

  1. Snowboard toward the ramp or halfpipe wall. The first step in learning how to cannonball on a snowboard is approaching something you can get some air off of. Approach the jump with your knees bent, that way you can pop up at the end of the ramp to get more air. Having more air means you will have longer to attempt a cannonball.
  2. Perform a cannonball grab. Once you are in the air, it is time to learn how to actually do a cannonball. A cannonball is a grab trick, which means you grab the snowboard while you are in the air. For a cannonball you grab the front of your snowboard with your front hand, and the back of the snowboard with your back hand. Once you have grabbed on with both hands you can decide how long to hang on far. The longer you hang on the cooler the trick looks, but it also becomes more difficult to land it.
  3. Land the trick. Once you have decided to let go of the grab, be ready to land the trick. This is the last step in learning how to cannonball on a snowboard. Be ready to absorb the impact of landing by bending your knees as you land. It is also important to make sure your hands are no longer holding on to any part of the snowboard. That could be painful. Once you land, just ride to the next jump on your snowboard and get ready to do it again. Now you know all about how to cannonball on a snowboard.
