  1. Store them in a secure place. After each use, store your hockey goalie pads in a safe place. You do not want to throw them around in a closet or anything. Ensure they are in at least a high place where no one could accidently damage your hockey goalie pads. You may want to buy a container to put them if needed.
  2. Clean them frequently. Cleaning your hockey goalie pads after each use is a sure way to care for them. Hockey goalie pads could become dirty very easily. So, keep them clean periodically so that they may look almost like new every time you throw them on. Also, if you have not used your hockey goalie pads in a while, then you would still need to clean them off of any dust mites too.
  3. Repair them if needed. It is smart to check your hockey goalie pads often as well. Sometimes, there may be some parts that need to be repaired. Take some time to inspect your goalie pads. If they need any simple repairs, then repair them yourself or have a friend to do it for you. If they need any new padding, then they are easy to find at any hockey or hobby store.
