Need to know how to change the 1995 Harley Davidson Sportster? People have been modding and changing motorcycles for years, so this is a pretty common thing. Just don't try to make extreme changes because reverting back to original specs may be impossible. Since it's impossible for us to know what kind of change you want to make to your 1995 Harley Davidson Sportster, we're just going to provide some guidelines for you here.

Make sure you have the following:

  • Tool set (wrenches, hammers, nails, drills, etc.)
  • 1995 Harley Davidson Sportster
  • Replacement parts (depending on what you want to change, like new engine, seat, etc.)
  1. Figure out which parts you want to change. Do you want to upgrade the engine or do you want to change the handlebars? The possibilities are pretty much endless so choose which parts you want to change on your 1995 Harley. Just make sure it is possible to change the part you want to change because if it's not possible, you will have hit a dead end.
  2. Find replacement parts online. The reason we say "replacement parts" is because you would be changing parts and elements on your 1995 Harley, so technically you'd be replacing the parts. Find replacement parts online because it’s easier to browse around online than finding a store near you. Once you have found the replacement parts, make sure you have enough money to pay for the parts. If you don't have enough money, you may want to reconsider the parts you want to change or rethink changing your Harley completely.
  3. Buy the parts you need to change your 1995 Harley. Order them from wherever you were able to find the parts. It'll probably take a little while for the parts to get to your home. Once they do, take all the parts to your garage or wherever you intend to perform the change.
  4. Make the changes. Remove the parts you wish to change on your 1995 Harley Sportster. Then, install the new parts you just ordered. The new parts probably came with an instruction manual for installing the parts onto your Harley Sportster. Be sure to follow these instructions exactly as they are stated.
