How To Change Olevia Lt20s Pc Resolution
So you've got you computer hooked up to your Olevia television and you want to get the best picture that you can, but you don't know how to change the Olevia Lt20s display resolution. Well, a television, much like a monitor, is simply a conduit for video imaging information to pass through and it can't alter the resolution of the image. In order to change the display resolution, you have to alter your video settings on your computer. Keep in mind that the Olevia Lt20s only supports resolutions of 640 x 480, 800 x 600 and 1024 x 768. The image will look the best at the television's native resolution, which is 800 x 600 for the Lt20s.
-
Right-click on your desktop. A drop down box will appear.
-
Click on the bottom option in the drop-down box. This option will either say "Display Settings" or "Personalize" depending on your Operating System. If your option was "Display Settings" then click on the "Settings" tab in the window that pops up. If your option was "Personalize" then click on the "Display Settings" option at the bottom of the window that opened up.
-
Move the sliding bar to change the resolution. In the "Resolution" area of the window, there will be a sliding bar that you can click on and move. Move the bar to the left or right, or up and down for Windows 7, to change the screen resolution to the desired setting. Press the "OK" button when you are done. The screen will flash for a moment as the resolution is changed.
- Press "OK" on the pop-up window to verify that you like the new resolution. This is just to check that the resolution change worked. If your display does not support the new resolution, you will see a blank screen for 15 seconds and then the old resolution will be restored.
