How To Chat Up Girls

Seriously, chill out, take a breather and just follow some of these four simple strategies that make it easy to chat up girls, no matter how attractive they are. Stressed out about your inability to talk to women? Well don't worry about it, because that's the worst thing you can do. 

1. Don't think about it too much. If you find yourself planning what you're going to say, you might have a hard time reacting to what is said, or depending on how your planning face looks, come off as a creep. Just go with the moment, and for as long as you're enjoying it, react to where the conversation is going until it's time to move on. This is especially applicable when it comes to starting up a conversation, which shouldn't be anything special. Talk to them like you would talk to one of your male friends, and you'll be able to relax enough to keep the conversation going.
2. Don't just talk to them, also talk around them. If certain girls, or one or more of their assets, keep throwing you for a loop, the best thing you can do is out-loop them in return. This simply means talk to the obliging female wing man you happened to bring along for the mission (preferably), or hit on the nearest passing drunken hot mess (they won't remember it), and snap back into focus with the main event every now and then. This strategy keeps women on their toes because they think you're not paying attention to them, but don't overdo it.
3. Choose your battles. The fact that you're reading this article means you probably aren't that interested in deep philosophical debates, so why get so mentally worked up? If things start to seem like they aren't really worth all the effort, learn from your mistakes and bail out. Chatting up girls isn't an exact science, so be ready to read the situation and concentrate on having fun because the nice thing about rejection is that it's not like you ever really have to hang out with that person again. Of course, if you think lab partners, being coworkers or running into each other accidentally at a party count as hanging out, you've got more to work on than just learning how to strike up a conversation, like getting out more.
4. Remember there are other fish in the sea. The fact that you can't navigate near this particular mermaid either means that her siren song is a constant, grating overture that doesn't let you get a word in edgewise, or you're just so enthralled by it that you've been dumbstruck.
