Wondering how to clean Jacuzzi jets because you noticed some scum building up around the jets? Cleaning your Jacuzzi jets on a regular basis will allow you to feel fresh, clean and relaxed during its use. Properly maintaining your Jacuzzi jets will keep your Jacuzzi running at its full capacity and will ensure you get the most life and longevity out of your Jacuzzi.

You will need:

  • Dishwasher detergent
  • Chlorine bleach
  1. Fill the Jacuzzi tub with hot water approximately two inches above the highest jets.
  2. Add your cleaning supplies to the hot water. Add a 1/2 cup of chlorine bleach and a couple teaspoons of powdered dishwasher detergent. You can add bleach and detergent to the hot water while feeling up the tub.
  3. Turn on the jets and let them run for a full ten to fifteen minutes to allow any scum, build-up or residue to loosen up and flush out.
  4. Drain the tub completely and rinse out any residue.
  5. Refill the Jacuzzi tub with cold water. Run the Jacuzzi jets for another ten to fifteen minutes, adding the bleach and the detergent again.
  6. Drain the tub once again and rinse away any additional scum or residue.
  7. Clean the Jacuzzi tub like you normally do with your regular bathroom tub cleaner. You are all set to go for about another month or so.
