Knowing how to clear the Internet cache to hide porn comes in handy. This is especially important if you share your computer with children, a jealous mate, or just want to keep a few secrets. You tidy the table after you eat dinner so why not take a few minutes to clear the Internet Cache and hide porn use.

Firefox:

  1. Click “Tools.” Select “Clear Recent History” from the menu. Choose to clear everything, today, or for the last one, two, or four hours in the “Time range to clear” box. If your mate is the suspicious type and has expressed concern over your porn use, choosing to clear the Internet cache for the past hour or two will raise fewer suspicions than clearing the entire cache.
  2. Click on the down arrow beside “Details.” Check the box to the left of “Browsing & Download History,” “Form & Search History,” “Cookies” and “Cache” to clear the internet cache to hide porn. You can select other options too but the listed options are absolutely necessary to clear the Internet cache and hide porn use.
  3. Press the “Clear Now” button. This commits you to clearing the items checked in the previous step. Unless you are a computer forensics guru or a secret agent, you will not be able to reverse this decision.

Safari:

  1. Click “History.” Select “Clear History” from the list. Safari's options to clear the Internet cache to hide porn are very basic. Unlike the various options available in Firefox, your only choice is to clear the Internet cache or leave it with Safari.
  2. Press the “Clear” button. This will confirm that you want to clear the Internet cache to hide porn browsing evidence. Be aware that the history is not retrievable for the typical user once you clear the Internet cache. This decision is final.

Internet Explorer:

  1. Select “Safety” from the Internet Explorer toolbar. Menu items include “Private Browsing” if you want to browse without leaving a trail. This may save you from having to clear the Internet cache to hide porn after your next browsing session.
  2. Choose “Delete Browsing History.” Remove the checkmark from “preserve Favorites website data” and place a checkmark in the boxes beside “Temporary Internet files,” “Cookies,” and “History.” Click the “Delete” button.
