3. Verify your password.  Enter your password to verify that you want to close your account for Yahoo.  
4. Enter the verification code.  Type the verification code in the code box exactly as shown (the code is case sensitive).
   
5. Cancel your account.  Click the button under "YES" that reads "Terminate this account."  Your account is now deleted.
