Learning how to coach pro tennis players will take a little effort. Pro tennis players have the option to choose their tennis coaches. The coaches don't have the option of choosing them. Some pro tennis players don't have a tennis coach at all. It would be best to try to coach a lesser known player if you are looking to coach pro tennis players. You will more than likely have more success if you go for someone who is not very well know.

Know the game of tennis if you want to coach a tennis pro. It will be very hard to coach a tennis pro if you don't know the game. At some point you will have to hit with the tennis pro. As a tennis pro coach, you will not be expected to beat them. After all, you are the coach and not the talent. But you should have some basic skill level for the game of tennis.
- Pad you resume. If you want to coach pro tennis, you will need to have some experience. Players will want to see that you have some credentials. They are paying you to make them better and to win. So you will need to demonstrate to the player that you can do just that. Go to your local high school and park district and see if they need a tennis coach. This will go a long way to helping you someday coach pro tennis.
- Find some young talent and ride the wave. If you work with young talent and help them throughout their career they may make you their first full time pro coach if they turn pro. A lot of pro tennis player choose to keep the tennis coach they had when they were a kid. This may not always work out for the coach. But if it does it could be a very nice pay day if they decide to make you their pro tennis coach.
