Things You Will Need to Beat the Norad II Mission in Starcraft:
- Control of the Enemy Base
- Tech trees developed as fully as possible
How to Beat the Norad II Mission in Starcraft
- Move the troops you start with to the East of the Map. Remember to keep Raynor protected. Take out any Zerg opposition along the way. When you get to the base, head to the command center. Capture it and start making SVCs. Use the SVCs to repair buildings. Send Duke's troops into the bunker's for their own protection.
- Repair the bunkers along the edge. Send in the space marines you have to protect the base. Train more space marines at the barracks. Build more bunkers and missile silos to protect your base from aerial attacks.
- Build a war factory with a machine shop. Build up enough items to make the spaceport. Build two drop ships. Assemble a large land force and send them North to destroy the Zer base there. When you run out of materials, you can send the Terrran structures northward.
- Use the wraiths to clear a beachhead to the west. The spires will detect the ground troops. When you have a safe landing zone established, train marines, build Goliaths and build motorcycles. Tanks are not available in this mission.
- Use your Ground troops to clear a safe fly zone to the Norad II. You can take out all the spires and ground troops if you choose. When a safe fly zone is established, load Raynor and a few Marines into a drop ship and go rescue General Duke's men. Do this right, and you will beat Starcraft's Norad II mission. You can also skip the aerial strategy by circling ground troops around from the other side of the ship.
