- Connect your iPod to the stereo. Locate the iPod docking station on your stereo. Usually your stereo will be marked and labeled for this iPod connection. You will be able to find this connection on the front or back of your stereo. To connect you iPod to the stereo plug your iPod into this connection hole.
- Adjust your stereo to hear the music. Power up both your iPod and your stereo in any order. Set the iPod volume sound settings to your desire. To hear music in your stereo coming from you iPod set your stereo to "auxiliary" mode.
- Set up your equipment volume. . The best way to set the volume on your stereo is to turn the iPod volume down to about half of its capacity and then adjust the volume on your stereo to set it where you want it to be. Enjoy listening to your music on your iPod through your stereo.
