How To Connect PSP To PS3

What many people do not know is that you can learn how to connect a PSP to a PS3. Being able to connect a PSP to a PS3 has an endless amount of benefits. You will be able to access games, codes, accessories and many other features that you would not normally be able to do if the two devices weren't connected. All you need are the two devices. Here some quick steps that will help you connect a PSP to a PS3.

To connect a PSP to a PS3, you will need:

  • PS3
  • PSP
  1. Check remote start on your PS3. The remote start on the PS3 allows you to control your PS3 through your PSP. You can turn this feature on if it is not already by going to the remote play settings and choosing remote play. After this, click on and also choose to allow remote start through the Internet.
  2. Begin remote play on your PS3. Once the remote start feature has been activated on your PS3, you can begin using it. Click on network settings and click on remote play. Now a box will pop up telling you to connect your PSP with remote play.
  3. Remote play with your PSP. Click network settings and click on remote play. Choose to connect through a private network if you are in your own home. If you are somewhere else, you can choose to connect your PSP through the Internet. Once you are done, your devices are ready to go. 

Now your PSP is connected to your PS3 and you can use remote play to control your PSP with your PS3 and vice versa.
