How To Control Your Dreams

Learning how to control your dreams is a necessary stepping stone on the path to lucid dreaming. Start controlling your dreams to increase pleasure, end painful nightmares, and do whatever you want in your dream world. Turn your dreams into virtual reality.

  1. Write a dream journal. Keep a notebook and pencil next to the bed. Jot down everything you remember about dreams as soon as awakening. Keeping a dream journal will help you remember dreams quickly and easily, notice re-reoccurring themes in dreams and become aware of lucid dreams.
  2. Put a unique symbol in the room. Place a unique symbol, which is not seen anywhere else on a daily basis, somewhere in your room to help control your dreams. If you see the symbol on the head of your boss, you will definitely realize you are in a dream. Remember, do not choose a symbol that would be embarrassing if someone else saw it; you do not want to explain the symbol to the guys or a special lady.
  3. Prepare mentally for a dream. Men will dream about the things that surround them and thoughts before they sleep. Influence dreaming by surrounding yourself with the appropriate things before bed. If you want to dream about your crush, drift to sleep with sweet thoughts of her in your mind. Doze off while looking at pictures of clouds to dream about flying. Stay surrounded by the objects you want to dream about.
  4. Question yourself about dreaming daily. Ask yourself if you are dreaming throughout the day. Find out if you are awake by pinching yourself, biting the tongue or kicking the wall. Making a habit of questioning your consciousness will increase the chances of questioning occurring during a dream. If you are flying through the air when you ask yourself if you are sleeping, the answer will be clear.
