How To Cope With Sex Issues
It's important to know how to cope with sex issues. Whether the issue is erectile dysfunction or issues with your libido, they can usually be fixed. Suffering in silence won't get you anywhere. If you are in a relationship or marriage, your sex issues automatically become your partner's sex issues as well. Not being able to perform can really lead to a drop in self-esteem. To cope with sex issues, it's important to treat them and learn techniques to help you with them.
- Confide in your partner. This is scary. But, it's important that she know the truth about any sex issues. If the sex issue is a low libido or erectile dysfunction, you don't want her to think that the problem is her. To cope with sex issues, reassure her that you love her and are very attracted to her. Just that you are having some medical issues and are trying to get to the root of the problem. Having her support will help you during this time.
- Be active. Not only does this help you cope with sex issues by taking your mind off of them, it may help alleviate some of the issues. Physical activity can get the blood flowing in your body, including your penis! Do aerobic exercise three to four times per week. Lift weights one or two days per week. Other fun activities include swimming and hiking.
- Visit the doctor. Not only should you make an appointment with a medical doctor, but perhaps a psychologist as well. It depends on the reason. Both types of doctors can help you cope with sex issues in different ways. The medical doctor can hopefully help find a cause and a solution. The psychologist will help you by providing coping techniques.
