It could be the last straw that breaks the camel's back and sends you to the divorce lawyer.   1.  Understanding. First off realize that intimacy problems may be deeply imbedded into that person you love. It could actually come from issues that stem from childhood. So learn what is causing the situation so you can work on it.
  2. Therapy. In many cases though you may not want to go to it therapy will be a big help. When learning how to deal with intimacy problems you may need the help of a therapist to get to the deep causes behind the issues in the first place.
  3. Support. You need to be on the side of your partner and support them. It will be tough because often you will feel like they don't love you. Perhaps seek out other ways to see the love they offer to you to make it to the next level.
  4. Patience. Patience is always a virtue but when learning how to deal with intimacy problems it can be king.  Without patience you will not be able to do any of the above and have a relationship that will make it through all the situations that you will face before it gets better.

The biggest thing when learning how to deal with intimacy problems you really need to be side by side and work it out together.  So with some work you will one day have a relationship that will be healthy and full of love and intimacy.
