To delete Facebook, you will need:

1. Open your web browser and navigate to Facebook. If you are not logged in to your account already, sign in at the top of the web site.
2. Click on “Account” at the top of the page. Select “Account Settings” from the drop-down menu. At the bottom of the page, click “Deactivate” next to “Deactivate Account.” Deactivating your Facebook page will make your page inaccessible to friends, remove it from all searches and content from your page will not be used by Facebook. 3. Delete your account, permanently. You can request that Facebook delete your page all together. You will not be able to reactivate the account after following through with the request. If you want to join Facebook again, you will have to create a new account from scratch.
