How To Delete Fighters UFC Tapout For Xbox

Here's how to delete created fighters for the UFC Tapout video game from the memory on your original XBox console.  We've all created a fighter we thought was awesome, only for him to lose his first six fights before we decide enough is enough and we create someone else.  Every time you go to create a new fighter or review the fighters you've created that fighter who stunk it up is in the rotation. Before you delete a fighter, make sure there is no disc in your tray before booting up your console.

To delete fighters UFC Tapout for Xbox:

  1. Find the "Memory "tab". Move the "D-pad" up or down until you reach the "Memory" tab then press the "A" button.
  2. Check to see if you have a Memory Card. If you have a memory card plugged into your remote control, you will have the option to use the "D-pad" to move left or right.  If you do not have a memory card plugged into your XBox remote control, simply press the "A" button.
  3. Find the "Tapout" tab. You will see a list of the games you have saved to the memory on your XBox console.  Scroll down until you see the "UFC Tapout" tab then move the "D-pad" to either the left or the right to select a specific saved game associated with "UFC Tapout".
  4. Delete Fighter. There will be a separate "save file" for each fighter you have created.  For example, if you have created four fighters, you will see four files named something like, "Create Fighter 1," "Create Fighter 2," "Create Fighter 3," and "Create Fighter 4."  Select the created fighter saved game you want to delete and press "A".  This will open up a small menu that will ask you whether you would like to copy or delete the fighter.  Obviously, you will want to select "Delete."  Make sure you you delete the correct "UFC Tapout: fighter, because once you choose to remove the file from the memory on your XBox console, there is no retrieving the information.
