How To Delete A Friend On Facebook
If you no longer want to be friends, learn how to delete a friend on Facebook to prevent them from seeing future status messages and profile changes. If you delete a friend on Facebook, they can no longer contact you on Facebook without your approval first. The friend is not notified upon deletion, nor are any of your other friends. Deleting a friend on Facebook is completely private.

Log-in to your Facebook account. You must be logged-in in order to delete a friend on Facebook. After logging in, you will see the latest news and status updates from your friends.

Navigate to the profile page of the friend you want to delete. The easiest way to view your friend's profile page is to open your own profile page by pressing “Profile” from the main Facebook window. Press “View All” under the “Friends” section. Press the friend's name to open their profile.

Scroll to the bottom of the friend's profile page. You only need to reach the end of the left side of the page, not the end of the center or status section.

Click the “Remove from Friends” link to delete a friend on Facebook. This is located on the left side of the profile page.
If you want to delete multiple friends on Facebook, press “Friends” on the left side of the main Facebook window. Press “Edit Friends” at the top of the center section. Press the “X” beside each individual friend you want to delete.
Before you delete a friend on Facebook, be certain you want to. You must request to be their friend again if you wish to re-add them.
