How To Delete Pages On Facebook
If you are a Facebook user, you have probably created a page for something or have been invited to become a fan of a page, and you might need to know how to delete pages on Facebook. If you created a page or added a page to your profile and no longer want the page, you can delete it. There is a slightly different process for deleting a page you created compared to deleting a page from your profile, but both are easy to delete.
Delete a Page You Created
-
Open the page you created. Log in to Facebook with your email address and password and open the page you want to delete. You can find the page listed on your profile in the "Info" section or you can type the name of the page in the search bar at the top of the screen and open it from there.
-
Access the page settings. After you open the page you want to delete, click the "Edit Page" link located under the profile picture for the page. A new page will open that gives you several options for editing the page.
- Delete the page. Click the "Delete Page" link located in the options at the top of the page. Click "Delete" again to confirm that you want to delete the page.
Delete a Page from Your Profile
- View the page you want to delete. After you sign in to Facebook, open the page you want to remove from your profile. You can view the page by clicking the listing on your profile page or by entering the name in the search box.
- Remove the page. After you open the page you want to delete from your profile, scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Remove Me from Fans." The page will be removed from your profile.
Warning
If you delete a page you created, it will be permanently deleted. If there are any pictures or information on the page that you want to keep, make sure you save it before deleting.
