How To Delete Skype Account

You may have found a different video chatting service that you like and may need to learn how to delete Skype account. Skype has grown in popularity over the past years as a result of the whole videoconferencing revolution. Skype makes it easy for you to communicate with friends and family that may be miles and miles away. However just like MySpace, Skype has a shelf-life. Some people no longer want a Skype account and the solution to that is to delete it. All you have to do is follow these steps to be closer to no longer having a Skype account.

To delete your Skype account, you will need:

  • Skype account
  • Computer with internet
  1. Use your computer to go to your Skype account on the program's website at Enter your username and password so that you can log into your account.
  2. Once your are logged into your account, use your mouse to click on the link on the right side of the screen that says "Subscription Settings."
  3. Go to the left side of your screen and click on the link that says "Cancel Subscription." A new page will load up and confirm if you really want to get rid of your account.
  4. Click on the option that says "Yes" and this will finalize the deletion of your Skype account.
