- Capoeira Instructor
- Medical Clearance and good health
- Brazilian Music
- Make sure that you get medical clearance from your doctor before you learn how to do Capoeira sport. Keep in mind that you will be sparring with an opponent in a playful manner. Begin by doing basic warm-up exercises, stretch your arms and legs for five minutes and jog in place for five minutes. Do ten push-ups and ten sit-ups and you are now ready to do Capoeira sport.
- Prepare to do the basic evading and footwork to learn how to do Capoeira sport. Stand up and shift your feet forward and backward and then side-to-side. Practice the evasion movements by moving around as though you are trying to protect yourself from your opponent with arms extended.
