Need to know how to do graphic art on WordPerfect 2002? This article will help guide you through the process of adding graphic art effects in WordPerfect 2002. There are some basics that we need to cover first. When you use WordPerfect to add graphic art to your documents, all graphics will have borders, frames and are in a sized box that you can shrink and stretch.

  1. Insert graphics. To insert graphic art, you will want to click on "Insert," then "Graphics," then "Clipart". Now you will want to scroll through the different graphic images until you find the one you like. You may also see your own images displayed from your pictures folder. Once you have selected the image, click "Insert" to insert the image and then minimize or close out of the scrapbook. Now you should see the image on the WordPerfect document.
  2. Internet images/clipart. If you don't find the graphic art image you want to use, you can always go the the WordPerfect clipart library. You will have a lot to select from. Just go to the scrapbook dialog box and click on the internet button.
  3. Add shapes in WordPerfect. You can also draw shapes and try to create your own clipart images. To do this, click on "Insert," then "Shapes."
  4. Use WordPerfect SmartArt. You can use SmartArt to create diagrams, lists, processes, cycles, hierarchies, relationships and even a pyramid. After selecting one of these graphic art items, you will see in the right window pane different types of each category. Once you have selected the type of object, you can click on the "OK" button and get started.
