How To Do A Handstand In Skateboarding

You are starting out learning skateboarding tricks and want to know how to do a handstand in skateboarding? Skateboarding tricks allow for you to show off your skills. Depending on how good of a skateboarder that you are, there are tons of tricks that can be done on a skateboard. Doing a handstand in skateboarding can be really fun to do and a good trick to show off to family and friends.  As long as you get the techniques down, it won't be long before you are able to do a handstand in skateboarding.

  1. Practice your handstand on the ground. If you are unable to do a handstand on the ground first, don't expect to be able to do a handstand in skateboarding. Make sure your practice until you are able to do a handstand comfortably on the ground and maintain your balance.
  2. Place your skateboard in the grass. The grass is the safest place to practice your handstand. Incase you fall you will have somewhat of a cushion. Stay away from concrete, dirt, and gravel when practicing your handstand. Move to ground while skateboarding once you have succeeded at doing it in the grass.
  3. Find your stance. Position you hands over the front and back end of you skateboard. Distribute you weight evenly on the skateboard. Push off with your hands, and bend your elbows on the board as you lift your feet up.
  4. Get into the handstand position. Begin to propel yourself upside down by lifting your feet up completely over your head. Straighten your arms, but still keep them bent a little to help maintain your balance. You have learned how to do a handstand in skateboarding.
