Being able to gain publicity for a business or public persona of yours can be fun and easy with Facebook, but you're probably wondering how do you create a fan page on Facebook. Fear not! Creating a page is as easy as it is quick, so you can keep promoting whatever it is you think people need to be a fan of.

1. Go to Facebook's site. The first thing you'll need to do is visit Facebook's webpage. If you're logged into an account, you'll need to sign out. This will take you to the site's opening page, which, depending if you automatically sign in, may be one you haven't seen in quite some time. Again, fear not! You won't have to create an entirely new account for your page.
2. Create a page for someone noteworthy. At the bottom of the screen, you can click "Create a Page for a celebrity, band or business." This will take you to a new page that will start the process of creating a fan page on Facebook.
3. Choose a category. Choose the category of your Facebook fan page by choosing the category that most resembles who or whatever you are creating the fan page for. When you click on one of the six large categories, options for the sub-categories will appear for information on the fan page. 4. Populating your fan page. Facebook will then provide you with detailed instructions on how to fill out the content on your fan page and how to make the page visible to others.
