How Do You Get Wii Drums To Work
How do you get wii drums to work? To play the drums for Rock Band for the Wii, you must learn how to use the Wii drums set. Rock Band was released on 11/20/2007 for the Wii, with the peripheral instruments released shortly afterwards. The original Rock Band game for the Wii came with 58 songs on it and over a thousand have been released for download to the console. Rock Band is a fun, but challenging game. To be good at it, practice makes perfect.
- You will need:
- Wii Console
- Wii drums set
- TV set
- The Wii drums set will have to be assembled once they are taken out of the box. Instructions should be in the box to assemble them. Take care to assemble the Wii drums set correctly, or they will not work. A USB cable will be included in the box. Connect that to the drum kit and to the appropriate USB hub on the Wii console.
- Connect the Wii to your TV using the Wii connector cables. Once the Wii is connected, turn it on and put in the Rock Band game. Once the game loads, you can use the drum set to navigate the menu or use the Wii remote. It is easier to just use the remote instead of the Wii drums set. You will want to navigate over to “options” and select “calibration settings.” From here you can calibrate your Wii drums set.
- Once you have the settings the way you would like, you can start to play Rock Band. While in game play, you will strike the color drum that corresponds with the color showing on the screen. Once you get the hang of Rock Band, you can start some of the harder songs. You can also go online with the Wii and download some songs to your Rock Band game.
