How To Down A Beer
Have you ever wanted to know how to down a beer but didn't know the right way to do it? Downing a beer can be easy if you do it the right way and are sure you can handle it. As long as you are spending the night where you plan to party or have a designated driver, you can down a beer and enjoy the nice buzz that will come with it.
Supplies
- Beer
- Towel
- Paring knife

Take the cold beer out of the refrigerator and let it set until it gets to room temperature. Have a towel ready in case some of the beer drips or you need to spit some out. This is if you cannot handle it. The towel will allow you to spit it out instead of spitting it on the floor.

Lay the beer on its backside with the beer tab placed toward the ceiling. Get the paring knife ready.

Hold the can sideways with the beer tab facing towards you when you are ready to poke the hole in the can with the paring knife.
- Count to three. Poke a hole in the beer can straight down on the same side as the tab. Take a deep breath. Tilt the can up to your mouth and pop the tab. Squeeze the can and start downing it. As you are downing the beer, squeeze the can and the beer will come out faster.
- Time yourself. Have your friends do the same thing for more fun. Whoever finishes the fastest is the champion of the party for the night.
Warnings
- Make sure you are spending the night where you are partying or have a designated driver because doing this will get you intoxicated quick.
