How To Download AOL

If you're new at downloading stuff off the Internet and want to learn how to download AOL software, don't worry; it takes only a few clicks of the mouse to get an AOL download started. There are several different types of AOL software you can choose from. You can download an AOL all-in-one package to take care of all of your Internet needs or you can browse through the software descriptions and download single programs. 

1. Choose the operating system you are downloading to. Go to AOL's software and click either the "Windows" or "Macintosh" tab. The tabs are located under the main AOL menu bar. If you don't select the correct operating system, the AOL download will not work on your computer.
2. Select the AOL software you want to download. After you choose which operating system you want to download AOL to, select the software you want to download on your computer. You can download an all-in-one package that includes email, a web browser, and AIM or you can select individual software items. Click each program to view its description so you can decide whether or not you want to download it.
3. Save the file. Click the "Download Now" button to begin downloading AOL software to your computer. A box will open prompting you to save the file to your computer. Click "Save File" and the AOL download will begin. You can begin installing the AOL software after the download is complete.
