How To Dress Like Celebrities

Celebrities are known for having some of the most expensive pieces, so figuring how to dress like celebrities may be a bit of a challenge. Thankfully, there are stores that sell clothing and accessories that look almost exactly like the pieces celebrities wear. Most of these items are half the price of what celebrities pay for their clothes. In some cases when you look for cheaper items you sacrifice quality. With a little searching and digging you will be dressing like a celebrity in no time.

  1. Do your homework. If you are trying to look like a particular celebrity, make sure that you know what their style is. For example, if you want to dress like David Beckham or Orlando Bloom, you can go through fashion magazines like GQ. Make sure that you are willing to wear the same clothing that celebrities wear. If you are uncomfortable in wearing button up shirts, do not attempt to dress like celebrities who wear button ups.
  2. Look for the pieces. You do not have to spend hundreds of dollars on clothes to dress like a celebrity, though that may help. There are tons of websites on the Internet like http://getthelook.imnotobsessed.com/store/home/ that are dedicated to helping people who make an "average" person's salary dress like celebrities.
  3. Visit your local vintage or thrift store. Some of the key pieces that make an outfit are unique. A lot of these items can not be found in Neiman Marcus or Bloomingdales. This is why many celebrities turn to vintage or thrift stores for one-of-a-kind items. Try this out and see what you can find, who knows maybe someone may want to start dressing like you.

Sometimes people try too hard when they attempt to dress like celebrities. Try to keep your celeb look-a-like piece simple.
