While it may seem like a no-brainer, knowing how to dress at a nightclub can be more difficult than you think, especially if you are in a place you have never been. Do you dress casual? Do you dress up with a suit and tie? How are you to know, right? Some men completely over-analyze the situation and have no idea what to wear. And believe it or not, some men have just never been to a nightclub. So if this is your first time going to the club, or if you are just that clueless, here are some tips to help you understand how you should be dressing at a nightclub when you go live it up.
- Find out where you are going and what the dress code may be. Most nightclubs, no matter where you go, have a dress code of some sort. If you are not familiar with the place you are going, go online and see if it has a website. Most websites for nightclubs have the expectations on the site. If you can't find it on the website or the nightclub doesn't have one, try calling the club's general information phone number. Someone may be able to tell you what the dress code is. Even if the dress code is casual, do not wear sneakers, a baseball cap, torn jeans or even a team jersey. Some places won't allow these things at all.
- Make sure what you wear looks good to her. After finding out what the dress code is like in the place you are going, make sure what you choose to wear is something any chick will find chic. Make sure what you are wearing matches. Women react to a man who can dress well. That basically just shows her that you are not a loser and you actually have some sort of style sense. A man who looks good is one who will get the girl at the end of the night.
- Look in the mirror and be confident. After you have decided what to wear but before you go to club, make sure you look in the mirror, and maybe ask the opinion of someone else how you look. Make sure that you are comfortable with your decision before you leave and it's too late to change. Once at the club, carry yourself well and be confident. A man who dresses nice and who is comfortable in what he is wearing and what he is doing is a man who is about to have a night to remember.
