How To Dress For School
Figuring out how to dress for school is something that people deal with everyday that can become very complicated at times. Fashion can sometimes began to overwhelm school and present itself as a priority instead of a form of recreation. Many schools prevent students from having their own sence of fashion and shelter them with uniforms restrictions.

While in the school setting you want to make sure that all clothing pieces are appropriate for the school environment. Tops for ladies must cover the belt loops on pants and must not exceed it's limit in the front. Low cut shorts are inappropriate for a school setting and could cause distractions while in class. Males shirts must cover the entire chest and also be long enough to cover the belt loops on a pair of pants. Ladies straps on their shirts must be two inches wide and no thinner. If the strap on a shirt is going to be worn less than two inches then a jacket must be worn over it. With that said a shirt with no straps is strictly prohibited in the school setting. T-shirts are allowed as long as they are not showing the midrif area. Females are also allowed to wear long maxi dresses as long as there not strapless. Any form of pants for women are appropriate. Capri's and knee knockers are also allowed to be worn in the school setting.

Many guys have a problem with wearing their pants or shorts below the waist line. Sagging of the pants is not allowed while dressing for school. This is a distraction for other students around and could result in a form of violence. Pants worn appropriately are acceptable. Men shirts with tolerable logo's are also fine to wear. Ladies shorts and skirts must be three fingers above the knee and no more. Dresses has to have straps and must also be three finger tips above the knee. Long skirts that are passed the knees can be worn by ladies and considered ok. Ladies must take into consideration that the more skin that is being showed the more distraction to other students who are around.
- Shoes and accessories are not as strict as the above information but is very important. Make sure that while dressing for school that flip flops is not one of your options for school, for both males and females. Flip Flops are very hazardous and exposes the whole foot to any type of harm. Tennis shoes, wedges, slide ons, loafers all of these shoes are permitted in the work setting. Sandals are fine, this gives a certain amount of protection for the foot. Bandannas, hats, head scarfs are also considered a form of violence. This form of head wear can represent various gangs and seperation of religion,race, or gender. These items are best left at home and worn on your own time.
So you see dressing for school comes with directions. No longer is it throw on what you want and go get your education. The above dress wear has to this day been in influence on the learning environment in a school setting.
