How To Drive A Motorbike

- eye protection
- Start the engine of your motorbike. Either press or kick the start button on the motorbike. Be sure to hold the clutch lever towards the handle bars when starting the engine.
- Learn to control the speed. Use either the throttle or accelerator to increase the speed slowly. To prevent from getting a jerking motion, make sure that you release the clutch smoothly. Start off driving slowly and then work you way up towards reaching your desired speed as you get more comfortable driving the motorbike.
- Practice stopping the motorbike. When you apply the brake use the clutch to ease the gear shift. Apply both brakes simultaneously and place one foot on the ground to support you as you come to a stop.
- Practice, practice, practice. Avoid extremely busy areas while learning. Learn all of the controls, functions, and feature of the motorbike. The more you practice the more comfortable you will get with controlling the speed of the motorbike, as well as stopping the motorbike.
