Our lives are so busy with work and family that it is often difficult to figure out how to exercise daily. Exercise is vital for maintaining and improving health. There are convenient ways to get exercise daily.

  1. Incorporate exercise into your lifestyle. Getting exercise daily is easy when it is a part of your normal life. Simple ways to incorporate exercise into your life include always taking the stairs and parking your car at a distance from your destination. This will ensure that your legs are getting a workout. It also helps if you live upstairs or have a second floor in your home.
  2. Exercise on the job. Most people spend 8 to 10 hours a day at work leaving little time for exercise. Learn to exercise on the job. During your lunch break take a 15-minute daily walk. Bend over and touch your toes regularly while sitting at your desk and stretch your arms towards the ceiling. Walk down the hall to speak with a coworker instead of sending an e-mail or telephoning. Look for ways to move your body throughout the work day.
  3. Find an exercise partner. Having a partner usually makes it easier to exercise daily. The partner could be a friend, spouse, child or even your pet. Take a walk every evening with your partner. During inclement weather, put on an exercise or dance DVD and get a great workout indoors.
  4. Make exercise fun. Take up an enjoyable sport as a hobby. If you have an interest in tennis or dance take a class, enjoy yourself and exercise your body. When exercise is fun you are more likely to exercise more often.

Exercise daily for the benefit of your health. Exercise improves the physical condition of the body and alleviates mental stress.
