If you are in the market for a motorcycle, learning how to find cheap street bikes can save you some cash. Decide which cheap street bikes you are interested in, and then figure out how much you can afford to pay. Do some research on the various motorcycles you like, and see if one particular model catches your eye. Visit an online motorcycle valuation website, and find the bike you want. You can use the pricing report to help you negotiate the purchase price, whether the motorcycle is new or used.

  1. Visit a local motorcycle dealer. You may be able to find cheap street bikes for sale in your price range. Check out the various models the dealer has for sale, and try one out on the street. If the dealer has a low-priced motorcycle you like, make an offer based on your research.
  2. Search online for cheap street bikes. See if you can find the motorcycle you are interested in for a better price by doing some online shopping. If the best price you can find for the bike is only a little lower, it may be better to do just do business with the local motorcycle dealer.
  3. Ask some motorcycle riders you know where to buy cheap street bikes. You may even find someone who has a motorcycle for sale for a good price. If you do, compare the asking price with the local bike dealer, and see which motorcycle is the best value.
  4. Look in a few motorcycle magazines. You may be able to find some street bikes for sale at a good price in the classified section of a magazine. If you find a motorcycle you like, check the asking price against the book value. Consider making an offer on the bike if the price is right for you.
