  2. Build a resume. You need a resume and a cover letter to find a job. Make them professional. Go to the library and check out a book that gives you sample resumes.
  3. Let people know you're looking. Tell everybody you know that you are trying to find a job. The more people there are who know this, the better your chances of finding a job by word of mouth.

Post your resume so employers can find you. There are a number of great job sites out there, and some cater to specific industries, so don't be afraid to get specific in your search.
  6. Contact employment agencies. Get in touch with every employment agency you can find. Employment agencies get paid for helping you find a job and it won’t cost you anything.
