Your eyes have met with hers, she smiles at you and she always speaks to you, but does all that mean she likes you or she’s just being polite? You don’t want to risk embarrassment by telling her you like her until you know for sure the girl likes you.

1. Hold a conversation with her. Try making small talk with the girl you like. You don’t have to talk about relationships or anything deep, just anything in general; discuss the weather. If the girl doesn’t mind talking with you, that is a clue that she’s interested in you.

2. Try flirting with her. Pay her compliments—tell her what a nice smile she has or how nice she looks today. Girls like compliments, but she’ll like it even more she likes you. You will be able to tell if she’s smitten with you by the cute little smile she gives in response.
3. Read her body language. When you talk with her, does she put a lot of space between the two of you? Or does she move in closer to make the conversation more intimate? It’s the little things that will tell you if she likes you. For instance, when she tells you something and the two of you share a laugh, when she always makes it a point to put her hand on your arm or hand, or if she makes physical contact with you, there is a good chance that she likes you.

5. Make and hold eye contact with her. If you notice her eyes are roaming around the room, keep an eye on her, eventually her eyes will land on you. When your eyes meet, make sure you give her an intense and enticing look to keep her eyes on you. If she continues to stare back at you, that is a good sign that she likes you.
