You will need: 

• cotton swab
• rubbing alcohol

1. Turn your Blackberry cell phone off. Remove the battery cover. Take the battery out and wait two to three minutes. This is a hard reset for your Blackberry cell phone. It is also a good way to get programs that have stopped working to start working again.
