You can find the kingpin by locating the screw that is at the center of your skateboard’s wheels. Use the socket wrench to tighten the kingpin. Avoid tightening the kingpin too much, as this will prevent from being able to turn as easily.
- Test out your skateboard. Cracked skateboards prevent you from being able to do turn, and skate properly using your skateboard. Test out the board to see if your board works. If your board is still cracked and giving you problems you may end up having to take the skateboard in for repair.
- Skateboard repair. If tightening the kingpin does not work you can take your skateboard to be repaired. A repair shop will typically fix your cracked skateboard through the use of special tools.
