How To Fix DS

Fixing a DS is generally something that should not be done by you. Fixing gadgets like the DS require a lot of tools and technology that you may not have, it is better to entrust them with professionals so you know that your Nintendo DS will be handled correctly.

  1. Determine the problem. If you can, it is best to determine what exactly is wrong with your DS. For example, determine if the screen is broken or if something is wrong with the battery. If you determine the problem this makes it easier to be fixed.
  2. Check Warranty. Make sure to check to see if you have a warranty that covers the cost of getting your DS fixed. Even if you do not have the store warranty these items usually come with a manufacturers warranty. Just be sure that the warranty has not yet expired.
  3. Notify Nintendo. Nintendo is the creator behind the DS technology, so notify them about whatever problem you are having with your DS. They will most likely ask if you still have a warranty. Then once they have verified all of your information you can send it in for repair.
Sending the DS back to the manufacturer to be fixed may take awhile so don’t expect to be playing any Mario Kart Double dash games any time soon. Hopefully these steps help you fix your DS, and get it up and running in no time. Once you get it back feel free to enjoy it, and hopefully you will not need to fix your DS again.
