So here we're just going to simplify and sum it all up just to help refresh your memory and to help you remember in case you find yourself under tense conditions. Here is how to fly a fighter jet plane!

  1. Get to know the controls. Hop into the cockpit of the fighter jet plane. Now, get a good feel of all the controls and gauges around you. Know where things are in the cockpit. This will help with your reactions when flying the fighter jet plane.
  2. Follow procedures. When being trained to fly a fighter jet plane, your instructors should have taught you proper procedures to follow. Make sure that you know these procedures like you know the back of your own hands! This will definitely help with safety and how to fly the fighter jet. Be sure you follow these procedures completely.
  3. Airborn. Once you're airborn, continue to follow proper procedure. However, also ease up on the throttle to about 80% full. This will save fuel while still managing to get you to where you need to be. Don't forget to stay in formation with your squad, if you're in one.
  4. Relax a bit. It's not good to be all tensed up when flying a fighter jet plane. Fighter jets can fly at extremely fast speeds so you don't want to make mistakes. However, don't relax too much that you'll be unfocused and not ready to fight in combat. However, still relax to a point that you'll be ready to fly safely! Like they say, "Relax and fly the plane!"
