Wondering how to fly a plane? If you want to learn how to fly a plane, you’ll have to learn some basic information about planes. A plane is not easy to fly because there are many procedures and paperwork that you have to complete before you actually fly the plane. This process can be completed but you have to be patient and you have to take flying lessons to fly a plan. Most of all, you have to be able to follow directions and inspect a plane before you can fly it.

  1. Find out how to fly a plane by contacting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to locate civilian flight training schools that are certified by the FAA. Decide why you want to fly a plane. Locate a training school that is close to your home and gather information from the school about how to fly a plane.
  2.  Enroll into the FAA certified training school to help you fly a plane. Keep in mind that the rules for flying a plane in the US are very strict and you will go to jail if you do not play by the rules. Complete all the necessary paperwork that is required by the FAA and the flight school and pay all your fees.
  3. Contact an FFA certified instructor and ask him how he learned to fly a plane. Have a list of prepared questions to ask the instructor. Ask him what books to read to learn how to fly a plane. Find out what is the hardest part about flying a plane from the instructor.
  4. Study and work hard to learn how to fly a plane. Complete the required course work while you are enrolled in the flight training school. Perform satisfactorily on all tests and make sure you understand what you are being taught and if not ask questions. The flight school will teach how to fly a plane. Obtain your credentials from the flight schools and the FAA and you have learned how to fly a plane.
