How To Get Big Biceps At Home

If you do not belong to a gym, you might want to learn how to get big biceps at home. It is not as easy to get big biceps at home, but you can still do it if you have the proper equipment to train with. Before you train at home you might want to see if it is cheaper to join a gym, instead of spending your money on a set of weights. If you still want to workout at home, here are some ways to build up your biceps.

To get big biceps at home you need:

  • Weight set at home
  • Proper diet and rest
  1. Barbell curls are one of the main exercises to get big biceps at home. Put some weights on your barbell and stand behind it to get ready for the lift. Pick up the bar and hold it with your palms facing up. Bend your arms at the elbow and lift the bar up until it is right in front of your chin. Lower the bar back down to finish. To get big biceps at home, do three sets of ten repetitions for barbell curls on the days you workout your arms.
  2. Dumbbells are another weight to use to get big biceps at home. If you have a set of dumbbells, hold one in each arm and stand up. This exercise is called alternating one arm dumbbell curls and it will help you get big biceps at home. Lift the dumbbell up with your left arm by bending at the elbow. Once the dumbbell is by the left side of your head, lower it down to your side and then lift the right arm up. Do ten repetitions with each arm for three sets.
  3. Put one dumbbell down for the next exercise. Sit down on your weight bench and put your left hand on your right knee. Bend over and reach across your left arm and pickup the dumbbell off the floor to do one arm curls. The back of your right upper arm should be across your left forearm. Stay bent over, and then curl the dumbbell up toward your face. Lower it back down but don’t let it touch the floor. Do ten repetitions and then switch positions to do the other arm. Do three sets for each arm to get big biceps at home.
  4. Go back to your barbell and take some of the weight off. Do another set of barbell curls but this time try to do twelve repetitions for four sets. Your arms will be tired but if you can do all of the sets and repetitions, you will start to get big biceps at home. If you don’t like your results, you can try to add more weight for the exercises or do more repetitions.
